Sitting practice papers at home is a very different experience to sitting a set of exams invigilated under exam conditions in a school hall with other children. We know that a lot of students can find the experience stressful and struggle with the pressure of exams so we offer the chance to experience what it is like to sit a set of exams under the same conditions as will apply in their real entrance tests.

We can then offer an insight into the areas that most need improvement and help build confidence in tackling the Grammar School 11+ or other selective entrance tests.

Please note that we do not release the test papers, this is to ensure that no student has any access to the test papers prior to attending an AEC Tuition’s mock exam session and for copyright purposes. Our CEM Mock Exams are suitable preparation for the Birmingham Consortium and Shropshire, Walsall, Wolverhampton and Warwickshire Schools.

We have carefully timed the ‘series’ of four 11+ CEM-style 11+ Mock Exam sessions to enable you to monitor your child’s exam performance and to give your child plenty of test paper practice in a formal exam room environment in the months leading up to the real 11+ tests.

What the students say:

“ Being able to practise with mock exams makes doing the real ones much less stressful. I found AEC was a great environment for this and really helped.  I was far less nervous and felt much more prepared.  The feedback was really helpful in showing me where I needed to improve.  I would recommend anyone preparing for exams to take extra mock exams with AEC.  ”
